Welcome to the Friends of C and GX Hospital website

Welcome to our new web site! You will see that the name of our hospital is changing as we open a new chapter in our history. In response to suggestions from organisations providing physical and mental health services, social care and community support (including patient organisations, the Friends, GX Town Council and Parish Councils) and in line with National and Buckinghamshire policy, our hospital will become a centre to support integrated, health and wellbeing for our community.

On this website we present: . Plans for our Future, which will be updated as they develop. Current services include support for Chalfonts Primary Care Network, Start Well Services for children and families: Live Well Services for all ages and Age Well Services to meet the needs of older people. We outline possible Future Services and the Friends hopes for Future Services, notes on Our Healthy Community outlining support for health and wellbeing. We also include notes on Our History as the League of Friends and provide news updates and pages so you can Find and Contact Us.

Phlebotomy has moved to the Hall Practice

Pulmonary Rehabilitation is due to return am & pm on Tuesday and Friday in June 2024

Audiology may be offering services on a second day soon

Ultrasound has reserved a room for 5 days a week and may extend services depending upon demand

Dr Anoop a consultant in colon cancer offers telephone consultations on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday for GP referrals

We have recently been informed that the Centre will now include services to support patients with regard to:

Colorectal surgery, ENT (Ear Nose and Throat), Vascular surgery, Opthalmology (enhanced Services), Paediatrics, Haematology, Warfarin, Diabetes care, Tissue Viability, Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA), Cardiology, Podiatry, Continence, Community Neuro Rehabilitation, Pulmonary Rehabilitation, MSK Therapy and Physio service

The hospital is also a centre for the Rapid Response and Intermediate Care Team, Health Visitor and School Nursing services
